Blockwise Daily Privacy Policy

Effective: July 15, 2026 · Last updated: July 15, 2026

Blockwise Daily uses an anonymous game identity that is separate from every mcshuo.com website account. The game has no ads, analytics, purchases or tracking SDKs.

1. Scope and developer

This Privacy Policy applies to the Blockwise Daily Android game published by the mcshuo.com team. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the mcshuo.com team as the operator of Blockwise Daily. The Blockwise game identity is app-specific and is never linked to, authenticated through or merged with a mcshuo.com website account.

2. Data we process

To operate the game, we process a random Blockwise player ID, public signing key and key identifier, revocable session token, default or user-selected nickname, puzzle mode, text guesses, attempt history, completion state, score, leaderboard period, migration and recovery records, and deletion status. Standard delivery and security records may include an IP address, request time, request path, app version and signed-request metadata. We do not request a real name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone or advertising identifier.

3. On-device data and permissions

Language settings, the game identity, session information and pending migration details are stored in private app storage. A non-exportable P-256 private signing key remains in Android Keystore and is never sent to our service. Android backup and device-transfer export are disabled for private identity data. The app requests only internet and network-state access; it does not request camera or photo-library access.

4. How we use data

We use the data only to load and run puzzles, search text answers, restore progress, calculate and submit server-verified scores, operate shared leaderboards, edit the public nickname, prevent replay and duplicate submissions, support identity migration and uninstall recovery, detect abuse, secure the service, provide support and complete deletion requests. IP addresses are not used for advertising, cross-app tracking or location profiling.

5. Public leaderboard

The nickname selected in the game, leaderboard rank, score and number of wins are public on the shared Blockwise Daily leaderboard. The leaderboard does not display the player ID, signing key, session token, IP address, device channel or website-account information. Avoid placing a real name or other personal information in the public nickname.

6. Migration and recovery

Device migration uses a manually entered eight-character letter-and-number code. Live migration codes expire after ten minutes, can be used once and require both devices to show the same confirmation code before the old device approves the transfer. Uninstall recovery requires a saved eight-character restore code and a separately stored eight-digit recovery PIN. The app never uses a QR code and does not request camera access for migration.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal data and do not use advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. Data is sent over HTTPS to infrastructure used to operate Blockwise Daily. Hosting, network and security service providers may process encrypted traffic, IP addresses and technical logs only as needed to deliver and protect the service. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

8. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, Android Keystore for the private key, revocable sessions, ECDSA-signed protected requests, timestamps and one-time nonces. These safeguards reduce unauthorized access, replay and score manipulation, but no storage or network system can be guaranteed completely secure.

9. Retention and deletion

Game identity, progress and leaderboard data are retained while the identity remains active. Migration and recovery records are retained only as needed to complete, expire or protect those workflows. Technical security records may be retained for the period reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal obligations. You can permanently delete the Blockwise ranking identity, nickname, public keys, sessions, progress, scores, leaderboard entries, migration records and recovery records in Settings > Player profile & migration > Delete ranking identity. Website accounts are not read, changed or deleted. Uninstalling removes local keys and preferences but does not by itself delete server data.

10. Children

Blockwise Daily is a general-audience word and knowledge game and is not designed specifically for children. We do not knowingly request a child’s real name, email address, location, contacts or photos. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a public nickname or support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game, data practices or legal requirements change. The effective date and last-updated date will identify the current version. Material changes will also be reflected in the Privacy Policy displayed inside the Android game.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or deletion support, contact the mcshuo.com team at demonk6688@gmail.com. Support will never ask for a mcshuo.com website password to manage a Blockwise Daily game identity.
